Riley Defense RAK47 7.62x39mm 16.25" 30rd Teak Folding Rifle

The Riley Defense RAK47 teak side folder belongs to the Riley 100 series. It pairs a side folding triangular metal stock with stained solid teak upper and lower handguards and a black polymer pistol grip. It is chambered in 7.62x39mm, runs a 16.25" nitride barrel and feeds from 30rd magazines. Folding the stock shortens the rifle for storage and transport in a smaller case or behind a truck seat.

The receiver is stamped steel and fully heat treated, and the trunnion, bolt and carrier are forged. It uses a 90 degree gas block and keeps the bayonet lug, while Riley adds a bolt hold open safety lever, an extended magazine release and a machined side rail for a side mount optic. Front and rear sights are adjustable, and the metal wears a black oxide finish. It comes with one magazine and a cleaning rod. The teak handguards give it the warm look of a classic AK, and the metal folder makes it more compact than a fixed stock rifle. For shooters who want the classic wood look without giving up a compact footprint, this is a handsome, practical AK in the most common AK chambering, with room on the side rail to add a red dot or scope.
