Shooting Surplus Order Updates is an automated, transactional text message program. When you opt in at checkout, we send text messages about the order you placed at shootingsurplus.com — order confirmation, processing updates, shipping notifications with tracking, and delivery updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

How to opt in

You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the “Text me order updates” box on the shipping step of checkout. The box is unchecked by default, and consent is not a condition of purchase — you can place an order without opting in. You must be 21 or older to opt in; we ask for your date of birth only to confirm this and do not keep it.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies by order (typically 2–4 messages per order).

Msg & data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier apply to every message sent or received.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving order update texts. You will receive one confirmation text acknowledging your request, after which no further messages will be sent. You can opt in again on your next order.
