Century Arms VSKA Synthetic 7.62x39mm 16.25" 30rd Rifle

The VSKA Synthetic is the base model of Century Arms' heavy duty, American built AK, and a good starting point for anyone who plans to customize. It uses the same core as the standard VSKA: the bolt carrier, front trunnion and feed ramp are machined from S7 tool steel, a shock resisting steel used for chisels and jackhammer tips, and specially heat treated. The bolt is carburized steel and the barrel is chrome moly.

Instead of wood, this model wears a black synthetic stock and fore end for less weight and a modern look, with AKM compatible furniture mounting so aftermarket parts fit. The 16.25 inch barrel wears an AK slant muzzle device. It has standard AKM sights, a stamped steel receiver that is side optic rail ready, a large T shaped magazine catch, a bolt hold open notch on the safety selector and the RAK-1 enhanced trigger group. It accepts standard AK magazines and comes with one 30 round US Palm magazine. Overall length is 37.25 inches and weight is 7.5 lbs.
