Zastava Arms ZPAPM70 7.62x39mm 16.3" 30rd Serbian Red Rifle

The Zastava ZPAPM70 is the semi auto civilian version of Serbia's M70 rifle, a design Zastava has built by the millions as the service rifle of armies around the world. This model is in 7.62x39mm with a 16.3 inch cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel and Serbian Red wood furniture on the stock, handguard and pistol grip.

What sets the Serbian guns apart is the heavy build. The receiver is stamped from 1.5mm steel and paired with the bulged front trunnion the M70 is known for, which keeps the receiver from flexing and adds durability for high round counts. The double stack bolt and the cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel are built for high round counts and rapid fire, and a bolt hold open notch in the safety selector lets you lock the bolt back by hand. It runs adjustable front and rear iron sights, an AK slant muzzle brake and a left side optic mount, and it weighs 7.9 pounds. It comes with one 30 round magazine. For a traditional wood stocked AK on the Serbian M70 pattern, the ZPAPM70 is a solid pick.
