Zastava Arms ZPAPM70 Serbian American 7.62x39mm 16.3" 30rd Rifle

This limited edition Zastava Arms ZPAPM70 commemorates the long shared history of the United States and Serbia, including the Halyard Mission of World War II. The receiver carries a custom red, white and blue Cerakote pattern with the Serbian and American flags, and it is paired with Serbian Red wood furniture. It was produced in a limited run, which makes it as much a display piece as a shooter.

Underneath the finish it is a standard ZPAPM70, the semi auto rifle built on the operating principle of the M70 automatic rifle. The 1.5mm receiver uses a bulged trunnion for added rigidity, and the 16.3" barrel is chambered in 7.62x39mm. Front and rear iron sights are adjustable, the rifle holds 30 rounds, and it weighs 7.9 lbs with a 35" overall length. The heavy receiver and simple gas operated action make it a rifle you can take to the range without worry, but most buyers will want this one for the story it tells. It is a strong fit for AK collectors, for anyone with Serbian roots, and for shooters who want something far from the usual black rifle on the rack.
