About this product
The WASR-10 is Century Arms' most popular imported AK. It is a semi auto version of the Romanian military PM md. 63/65, the rifle collectors call the Romy G, modified to conform with 922(r). It is chambered in 7.62x39mm with a 16.25 inch hard chrome lined, hammer forged barrel with 14x1 LH threads.
Furniture is wood, with a stamped receiver, a standard AKM side optic mount and the RAK-1 enhanced trigger group. It accepts standard AK magazines and comes with one 30 round magazine. Sights are a fixed front post and an adjustable rear. Overall length is 34.25 inches and it weighs 7.5 lbs. There is nothing fancy here and that is the point: the WASR is an inexpensive, durable AK that takes the parts and accessories the whole AK world already makes. It works as a first AK for a new shooter or as the base for a custom build. Note that a cleaning rod is not included.
