Zastava Arms ZPAPM70 Underfolder 7.62x39mm 16.3" 30rd Rifle

The Zastava Arms ZPAPM70 Underfolder is a 7.62x39mm semi auto rifle based on the M70 automatic rifle, set up with the classic underfolding steel stock. It runs a 16.3" cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel with an AK slant brake on a muzzle threaded M14x1 left hand. The receiver is 1.5mm with a bulged trunnion, and the fire control group and bolt carrier are heat treated as a matched set. The double stack bolt and bolt hold open notch on the safety selector carry over from the rest of the ZPAPM70 line.

What sets this one apart is the furniture. The Frontline wood handguard is intentionally battle worn, so every rifle shows its own wear marks and carvings, paired with a Tango Down pistol grip. With the stock folded the rifle measures 26.5", and 35" with it open, which makes it easy to store and transport. Front and rear iron sights are adjustable, a bayonet lug is present, and a cleaning rod and one 30 round magazine are included. It is a strong choice for collectors who want the look of a well used service rifle and for shooters who want a compact AK they can carry and run hard.
