Pietta GWII Gamblers Royale 45 Colt 4.75" 6rd Revolver

The Pietta Great Western II Gamblers Royale dresses up the 1873 single action with Victorian scroll engraving. The barrel and the engraved cylinder wear an Ultra Black finish, while the frame is polished steel, so the gun shows a sharp contrast between dark and bright metal. A one piece black wood grip ties the look together.

It is chambered in 45 Colt with a 4.75" barrel and a six round cylinder, the traditional length for a belt gun. The action is single action only: the exposed hammer is cocked by hand for every shot and the trigger releases it, exactly the way the 1873 design has worked for well over a century. That simplicity is why single actions remain the standard at cowboy action matches. The engraving runs across the barrel, cylinder and frame, so the gun reads as a presentation piece from across the room, but there is nothing fragile about it. It is a steel framed 45 Colt that can be loaded and shot like any other Great Western II. If you want a gambler's gun with some flash that still earns its keep at the range, this is the one.
