Taurus Judge 45 Colt/410 Bore 3" 5rd Revolver

The Taurus Judge answers a question most revolvers cannot: what if one gun could fire both a 410 shell and a 45 Colt cartridge? The cylinder is cut for 2.5" 410 shells and headspaces 45 Colt in the same chambers, so a single cylinder covers birdshot, buckshot, defensive 410 loads and heavy 45 Colt. Five rounds go into the medium frame cylinder, and the 3" barrel keeps the package short enough to live in a nightstand or a truck console without fighting you.

This is the current production Judge, refined rather than redesigned. The DA/SA trigger lets you stage a deliberate single action shot or run it straight through double action up close. A fiber optic front sight gathers light and shows up fast against dark backgrounds, and the rear notch drifts for windage. Taurus wraps the grip frame in soft rubber that spreads out what 45 Colt recoil there is, and a transfer bar safety keeps the hammer off the firing pin until the trigger is pulled all the way through. Barrel, cylinder and frame are stainless steel carrying a black finish, which is the combination that holds up best in a holster that lives in a humid truck.
