Taurus Judge 45 Colt/410 Bore 6.5" 5rd Revolver

Give the Judge a 6.5" barrel and the character of the gun changes. The extra tube lets a 410 shot column settle before it leaves the muzzle, so patterns tighten compared to the short barrel versions, and 45 Colt loads pick up velocity they simply cannot generate out of three inches. Overall length runs 12.65", which puts this one squarely in the trail gun and truck gun category rather than the concealment category. It is a field revolver first.

Five chambers take 2.5" 410 shells or 45 Colt without swapping cylinders. Action is DA/SA, so you get a long deliberate pull when speed matters and a short single action press when there is time to aim. Windage adjusts by drifting the rear notch, and the fiber optic front post is easy to pick up against brush and shadow. Barrel, cylinder and frame are stainless steel wearing a black finish, and a soft rubber grip takes the sting out of full power 45 Colt. The transfer bar design blocks the firing pin until the trigger is all the way back, so all five chambers can ride loaded.
