Franklin Armory F17-L 17 WSM 20" 20rd ODG Rifle

The F17-L is Franklin Armory's long barrel take on its piston driven rimfire, chambered in 17 Winchester Super Magnum. Instead of the straight blowback action found on most rimfire semi autos, it runs an Osprey Defense slim gas piston with a rotating locking bolt and a dual firing pin system. The piston adjusts itself for suppressed or unsuppressed shooting, so there is nothing to tune when you thread a can onto the 20" precision barrel. The muzzle is threaded 1/2-28 and comes capped with an Aura muzzle brake.

Up top is a billet Libertas receiver set in OD green with a Picatinny top rail, so the rifle is optic ready with no iron sights. The 15" handguard has M-LOK slots and an integrated barrier stop for bracing against a post or barricade. A custom tuned trigger, Bravo stock and Ergo Ambi Sure grip round out the furniture, and it feeds from a 20 round polymer magazine. At about 9.9 lbs the weight sits low and steady, which suits a flat shooting 17 WSM built for prairie dogs, ground squirrels and other pest control at distance.
