Geissele Super Duty MOD1 5.56 NATO 16" Rifle

Geissele's Super Duty MOD1 with the full 16 inch barrel is the most straightforward configuration in the line: no pinned muzzle device, so the HUXWRX Flash Hider-QD 556 can come off the 1/2-28 threads if you want to run something else. The barrel itself is cold hammer forged and chrome lined with a 1:7 twist. Geissele lists the flash hider as compatible with the HUXWRX FLOW series of suppressors.

Everything else is Geissele's own kit. The SSA-E X two stage trigger with the Lightning Bow shape comes installed. The 15 inch MK16 Super Modular Rail has stainless QD sling inserts, and the A17 grip puts your wrist at a more natural angle than a standard AR grip. The aluminum lower carries the Ultra Duty parts kit with an ambidextrous Super Configurable safety and Ultra Precision trigger guard, while a B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock rides on a mil-spec buffer tube with QD endplate, Super 42 braided spring and H2 buffer. An enhanced bolt carrier group and Airborne charging handle finish it out. It weighs about 7 pounds and comes without a magazine.
