Ruger 10/22 250th Anniversary 22 LR 18.5" 10rd Liberty Blue Rifle

Ruger built this 10/22 for America's 250th, and the commemorative treatment goes past a rollmark. The stock is Liberty Blue synthetic with red and white splatter across it, and the receiver carries a special 250th Year of American Liberty engraving. Under the finish it is the 10/22 that has been in production since 1964: a rotary magazine that sits flush with the stock, a simple action that runs on whatever bulk ammunition is on the shelf, and a two screw V-block barrel attachment that a new owner can work out in a few minutes.

This version uses an 18.5" stainless barrel with a satin finish, threaded 1/2-28 at the muzzle and capped with a Ruger flash suppressor, so a can or a brake goes on without gunsmithing. Sights are a protected blade up front and an adjustable ghost ring at the rear, and a factory Picatinny rail sits on the receiver for a red dot or a rimfire scope. The BX-Trigger is fitted from the factory, with a light break and a short reset that make this noticeably easier to shoot well than an older 10/22. The Modular Stock System accepts different comb and length of pull modules, and the extended magazine release makes swapping the 10rd rotary magazine quick. The rifle weighs about 5 lbs.
