Zastava Arms ZPAP85 5.56 NATO 16.5" 30rd Side Folder Rifle

The Zastava Arms ZPAP85 side folder is a 5.56 NATO AK rifle set up with modern furniture from the factory. The 16.5" chrome lined barrel includes a pinned and welded muzzle extension, and it sits on a 1.5mm stamped steel receiver with a bulged trunnion. A Midwest Industries LWS folding stock mounts to a rear Picatinny rail adapter, taking the rifle from 34" overall down to 26" folded.

Up front, a quad rail handguard carries a Magpul RVG vertical grip and leaves room for a light or laser, while a top rail gives you a solid spot for a red dot or magnifier. The pistol grip is Magpul as well. Inside you get a corrosion resistant hard nickel molly steel bolt carrier, a hinged top cover and a bolt hold open notch on the safety selector. Iron sights are a Krinkov style rear and post front. One 30 round magazine is included, and the rifle weighs 8.3 lbs. The M85 platform is the short, handy member of the Zastava family, and this version adds the rails and folding stock that most owners would end up adding anyway.
