DPMS AR-10 Bolt Catch Assembly

A bolt catch assembly for DPMS pattern AR-10 and LR-308 lower receivers. The bolt catch is the part that holds the carrier to the rear on an empty magazine and the part you slap to send it home, so it takes a beating and it is one of the first small parts to get replaced on a high round count rifle.

This is the full assembly rather than a bare catch: bolt catch, bolt catch detent, bolt catch detent spring, and bolt catch roll pin, so there is nothing else to chase down at the bench. Installation is a bench job. Drive out the old roll pin, seat the detent and spring, drop the new catch in, and drive the pin back. Tape the receiver first, because the pin punch will find the anodizing if you let it. It is cut for AR-10 and LR-308 lowers on the DPMS pattern, so check which pattern your receiver is before ordering.
