DPMS Panther Arms Kitty Kat G9 9mm 33rd Glock Magazine Compatible Pistol

The Kitty Kat G9 is DPMS Panther Arms' 9mm pistol, built in an A1 slick side configuration with a carbine brace at the rear. Slick side means the receiver skips the forward assist and the brass deflector bumps, leaving flat sides and a cleaner profile, which is a common choice on a pistol caliber build where those features do very little work anyway.

It feeds from Glock pattern magazines, and a 33 round magazine comes with the gun. Glock pattern is the right call on a 9mm build like this one, because the magazines are everywhere, they stack up fast in a range bag, and a shooter who already owns a Glock can share magazines between the two guns instead of maintaining a second inventory. The brace handles the rear of the gun and the short overall package makes it easy to store and easy to move with. Pistol caliber guns in this layout are quiet to shoot with a can and mild enough to hand to a smaller shooter without the blast a short barrel rifle cartridge produces.
