About the DPMS Panther Arms Kitty
The Kitty Kat G9 is DPMS at its most compact: a 9mm AR pattern pistol with a 4" heavy barrel, a nitride treated bore, and a 27rd magazine hanging out of the magwell. The upper and lower are aluminum with a black hardcoat finish, and the receiver carries a Picatinny rail for a red dot or irons. A slim M-LOK handguard covers the barrel and leaves mounting space for a light or a hand stop without adding bulk.
Pistol caliber AR builds live or die on how they handle recoil, and a short 9mm keeps the impulse straight back rather than climbing. The result is a gun that is quick to point at close range and easy to store where a carbine will not fit. The muzzle is threaded, so a compensator or a suppressor can go on the front. Twenty seven rounds in a package this size covers truck duty, home defense, or a range day where a full size carbine is more gun than the job needs.
