About this product
The DPMS Kitty Kat is a retro styled AR-15 pistol chambered in 300 AAC Blackout. It pairs a C7 style upper with a fixed carry handle and A1 rear sight aperture with an R marked front sight gas block, so it has working iron sights right out of the box. The 7.5" heavy profile chrome moly vanadium barrel runs a pistol length gas system and an M4 barrel extension, and it is threaded 1/2-28 and capped with an A2 flash hider. Over the barrel is a short 4" knurled tube free float handguard.
The upper and lower are forged aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish, and the upper keeps the forward assist and dust cover. The bolt carrier group is an M16 profile carrier with a staked gas key. Out back a mil-spec buffer tube with six positions carries a DPMS CAR style pistol brace, and a classic A2 grip and mil-spec fire control group finish it off. One DPMS 30 round aluminum magazine is included. The 300 Blackout makes the most of a short barrel, and this one gives you a compact gun with an old school look.
