DPMS DP-15 Kitty Kat 5.56 NATO 30rd FDE Pistol

DPMS built the Kitty Kat as a compact AR pattern pistol chambered in 5.56 NATO. This one wears a flat dark earth finish, a quad rail handguard and a brace. The quad rail puts mounting space on all four sides of the handguard, which is the simple way to hang a light, a laser or a hand stop without adapters or extra hardware. Flat dark earth is a break from the usual black.

A 5.56 NATO pistol like this one fills a specific slot. It stores in places a carbine will not, it stays quick to swing from a vehicle seat or down a hallway, and it feeds the same ammunition as the rest of the 5.56 rack. One 30rd magazine comes with it. Add a red dot and a light and it is ready to work. Recoil is mild, the controls will be familiar to anyone who has run an AR, and the manual of arms carries straight over from any carbine already in the safe. It is a compact package that gives up very little in capability.
