Daniel Defense DD5 V5 260 Rem 20" 20rd Rifle

The DD5 V5 is the long barrel member of Daniel Defense's DD5 family, and this one is chambered in 260 Remington. The cartridge fires the same slippery 6.5mm bullets as the 6.5 Creedmoor, giving a flat trajectory and less wind drift than 308 with noticeably less recoil, which is why it has a following among long range shooters. The 20 inch cold hammer forged barrel is chrome lined, uses a strength to weight profile and runs a rifle length gas system.

A user adjustable gas block lets you set the rifle up for suppressed or unsuppressed shooting without changing how it feels. The DD5 bolt carrier group is superfinished and DLC coated, with a buffered carrier to calm the recoil impulse, and the 4-Bolt Connection System ties barrel and upper together for added rigidity. The ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle has anti gas features. A 15 inch M-LOK rail gives room for a bipod and accessories, and the DD Superior Suppression Device finishes the muzzle. The rifle is black and weighs about 8.9 pounds unloaded, heavy enough to stay steady but still easy to carry into the field.
