Taylor's Runnin' Iron Black Rock 45 Colt 3.5" 6rd Revolver

The Taylor's Runnin' Iron Black Rock is a 45 Colt single action revolver with a 3.5" barrel, a 6 round cylinder and Taylor's Black Rock nitride finish on the barrel, cylinder and frame. It has a low and wide hammer spur, a wide trigger and a checkered one piece walnut grip. Sights are a fixed blade front with a notch rear, and overall length is a compact 9.05".

The Runnin' Iron series was developed for mounted shooting with mounted shooter Denny Chapman and Wild West showman Deke Rivers, and it has caught on with ground shooters too. The low, wide hammer spur is easy to thumb back fast without shifting your grip, and the wide trigger spreads pressure across the finger. This one is Taylor Tuned, with hand polishing and custom springs, so it is ready to shoot out of the box. The Black Rock finish is a hard, permanent surface treatment that needs less lubrication, cleans up easier and gives the moving parts a smoother surface against each other, which adds to that tuned feel. The short barrel makes it quick out of the holster and handy to carry.
