Ruger Sfar 7.62 NATO 16.1 inch 20 Round M81 Woodland

The Ruger SFAR 7.62 NATO 16.1" 20RD M81 is the Small-Frame Autoloading Rifle in Ruger's SFAR series that brings .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO ballistics into a compact MSR-sized package for hunters, competition shooters and patrol applications, and it requires transfer through an FFL. The short 16.1" 4140 chrome-moly barrel with ultra-precise 5R rifling and 1:10 twist delivers consistent accuracy and reliable stabilization of typical .308/7.62 rounds while the mid-length gas system with a 0.750" 4-position gas block smooths recoil and allows tuning for suppressed or reduced-impulse loads; rugged internals include an 8620 steel bolt carrier with a nitride-processed gas key for durable, corrosion-resistant cycling. Finished in M81 Woodland hard coat anodized, the SFAR rides on a flat-top AR-style upper with Magpul MOE SL stock and MOE grip for ergonomic handling, a 4.5 lb two-stage trigger for predictable breaks, and a 20-round capacity for extended range sessions or field work, making the SFAR a versatile semi-automatic rifle for those who want .308-level performance in a lighter, more maneuverable platform.
