Smith & Wesson M&P15 Sport III 5.56 NATO 16" 10rd CA Compliant Rifle

This is the California compliant version of the M&P15 Sport III. It comes with the Juggernaut Tactical magazine lock system installed and a quick release rear takedown pin, and one 10 round magazine is included. Everything else is the same third generation Sport that made the line popular: a 16 inch barrel with 5R rifling, threaded 1/2-28 with an A2 flash hider, and a mid length gas system that softens felt recoil.

Up front is a 15 inch free float M-LOK handguard, so lights, grips and sling mounts go on without touching the barrel, plus a full length Picatinny style top rail for optics. The aluminum receiver has a black anodized finish, and the rifle keeps the forward assist and dust cover. A 6 position adjustable stock sets length of pull, and weight is about 6.5 lbs. The barrel carries an Armornite finish. It is a sound choice for a first AR-15 in a restricted state, for training, or for home defense.
