About this product
The PRO Ultra Match 6" is Rock Island Armory's long slide target 1911, built in the Medallion shop and set up for competition the day it comes out of the box. The 6" barrel stretches the sight radius and adds weight up front, which keeps the muzzle flat between shots in 45 ACP. A dovetail fiber optic front sight pairs with an LPA adjustable rear, so you can zero it for your match load and still pick up the front post fast.
The hammer is skeletonized and the trigger has an adjustable overtravel stop. A full length Picatinny rail runs under the dust cover for a light or a weight, and checkered rubber grips give a firm hold. The finish is a black parkerized coat that holds up to range work. Capacity is 8 rounds of 45 ACP. This version is Maryland compliant. It suits bullseye and steel shooters who want the long slide feel without a trip to the gunsmith.
