About this product
Mec-Gar's 8 round 45 ACP magazine for the 1911 Government gets one more round than the classic 7 round magazine. The blued carbon steel tube is paired with a nylon polymer follower that has a metal insert where the slide stop engages, so the slide locks back on empty.
The removable polymer bumper pad is tapered to work with funneled magwells. Internal parts are linked together for easy disassembly, and the spring is music wire with a phosphate coating.
