Colt Gold Cup National Match 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The Colt Gold Cup National Match has been the benchmark target 1911 since Colt introduced the first Gold Cup in the late 1950s, a gun a competitor could take straight from the dealer's case to the firing line. Gold Cups have shot everything from local club matches to the National Matches at Camp Perry. This one is the Series 70 in 45 ACP with a 5 inch stainless National Match barrel.

The target features are standard. A wide, adjustable aluminum trigger with three holes gives a consistent finger placement, the rear sight is a fully adjustable Bomar style unit over a target post front, and the ejection port is lowered and flared. The round top slide and frame are blued carbon steel, the frame has a beavertail grip safety, and the grips are checkered wood with Colt's gold medallion. It holds 8 rounds in the single included magazine and runs the crisp single action trigger that made the 1911 the bullseye standard. If you want a real Colt target pistol for the line, or a Gold Cup for the safe, this is the one.
