MAC 1911 MEUSOC 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The MAC 1911 MEUSOC is a full size 45 ACP 1911 patterned after the reworked pistols carried by Marine Corps MEU(SOC) units. Those guns began as WWII service pistols that the Marines modernized. MAC builds the same idea from new parts: a steel frame and slide, a 5 inch barrel with a target crown, vertical slide serrations and enhanced GI style sights.

It runs a single action trigger with a beavertail grip safety. The flat mainspring housing carries a lanyard loop, a nod to the military guns, and Pachmayr rubber grips keep a firm hold when hands are wet or sweaty. The QPQ treated frame and slide resist wear and corrosion. Unloaded weight is about 32.7 ounces. Each pistol comes with two 8 round magazines, a hard case, a cleaning kit and the owner's manual. A solid pick for a shooter who wants a working 45 with Marine Corps history behind the design.
