Colt 1911 Combat Unit Rail 45 ACP 5" 8rd Pistol

The Colt Combat Unit Rail is a full size Government 1911 in 45 ACP, shaped by input from U.S. Special Forces trainers. A 5" stainless National Match barrel sits inside a stainless steel slide and frame finished in matte black, and an M1913 Picatinny rail under the dust cover takes a weapon light or laser. The magazine holds 8 rounds.

The controls are set up for hard use. You get an ambidextrous extended thumb safety, an upswept beavertail grip safety, an undercut trigger guard and 25 LPI checkering. Scalloped G10 grips give a solid hold under recoil, and angled serrations at the front and rear of the slide make press checks easy. Novak front and rear sights give a clean, uncluttered sight picture, and an extended magwell guides the magazine home on fast reloads. The single action trigger works with Colt's Series 80 firing system. Built on a steel frame that soaks up 45 ACP recoil, it fits duty use, home defense and serious range work.
