DPMS Panther Arms 5.56 / 300 BLK Bolt Carrier Group

DPMS Panther Arms builds this bolt carrier group for 5.56 and 300 BLK. The bolt is shot peened, high pressure tested and magnetic particle inspected, the three step vetting that separates a bolt worth trusting from one that merely looks the part. The gas key is machined from bar stock, chrome lined and phosphate coated, then staked to mil spec so it stays put under gas pressure.

The carrier is phosphate on the outside and chrome lined on the inside. It arrives packed dry, which means it turns up with a grey, dusty appearance that goes black the moment oil or CLP touches it. That is normal for a dry packed carrier, not a defect, and the first wipe down sorts it out.
