The Colt King Cobra Carry is a purpose-built concealed-carry .357 Magnum, combining a bobbed-hammer double-action-only trigger with a compact 2-inch barrel for snag-free draws from under a cover garment. The DAO design removes the single-action notch entirely, eliminating the most common hangup point when clearing a holster and keeping the pull consistent from shot to shot. It's the right answer for shooters who want a magnum wheelgun on the hip but don't want to fight their own gun on the draw.
The frame, cylinder, and barrel are all built from stainless steel, so holster wear and sweat won't eat the finish. Black Hogue overmolded rubber grips fill the hand for better recoil control in .357 Magnum, and the 6-round cylinder keeps you one round over most J-frame competitors. The linear leaf mainspring delivers a smoother DA pull than typical small-frame revolvers, and the fixed sights stay out of the way during the draw. Rated for full .357 Magnum loads, it also runs .38 Special and .38 Special +P for practice with reduced recoil.
