Colt Python 357 Mag 6" 6rd Stainless Revolver

Colt brought the Python back in 2020, and this is the classic 6" configuration in stainless steel. The full lug vent rib barrel ends in a recessed target crown, the six shot cylinder is chambered in 357 Magnum and also takes 38 Special, and walnut grips carry the Colt medallion. The semi bright stainless finish holds up to sweat, holster wear and humidity far better than bluing.

The new Python is stronger than the original. Colt put thirty percent more steel under the adjustable rear target sight, and the front sight is user interchangeable, so you can change it to suit your eyes or your load. The trigger works double action and single action, with a transfer bar safety. The long sight radius of the 6" barrel makes this the pick for target shooting and handgun hunting, and the extra weight up front keeps magnum recoil manageable through a long session at the range.
