Colt Python 357 Mag 5" 6rd Blued Revolver

The blued Python is back, and this one has a 5" one piece full lug vent rib barrel with a recessed target crown. The frame is forged carbon steel with a polished blued finish and a matte top rib to cut glare, and walnut target grips wear gold Colt medallions. The fluted six shot cylinder is chambered in 357 Magnum and also handles 38 Special.

This is the modern Python, so it gets the stronger rear sight base with thirty percent more steel under the adjustable target sight, a user interchangeable front sight and an updated double action and single action trigger with a transfer bar safety. The deep blue finish is what most people picture when they hear the Python name. With a 5" barrel it gives a good sight radius for target work and handgun hunting while staying easy to carry in the field. Treat the bluing to a wipe down with oil after handling and it will look right for years.
