Colt 1911 Defender 45 Acp 3 inch 7 rounds Matte Cerakote G10 grips

The Colt 1911 Defender is a compact 45 ACP sidearm from Colt's Defender series that blends decisive stopping power with everyday carry practicality, featuring a 3-inch stainless steel barrel and a lightweight aluminum frame finished in matte black Cerakote for durability and corrosion resistance. This single-action, 7+1-capacity pistol runs a serrated slide for positive manipulation and Novak night sights for fast target acquisition in low light, while the upswept beavertail grip safety and textured G10 grips deliver a secure, natural hold that aids recoil control during follow-up shots. Weighing about 24 ounces, the Defender is sized for concealed carry yet solid enough for range sessions and defensive shooting drills; the stainless barrel and robust construction stand up to frequent use, and the straightforward SAO design supports consistent trigger performance. Whether you're selecting a personal protection pistol or a sport shooting companion, the Colt Defender's combination of trusted 1911 ergonomics, modern sighting, and carry-focused dimensions makes it a sensible choice for owners who want a reliable, well-balanced 45 ACP concealed-carry handgun (FFL required).
