Taurus, 942M Ultralite, 22 WMR, 2 inch, 8 rounds, Matte Finish

The Taurus 942M Ultralite Revolver 22 WMR is a compact, eight-shot DA/SA wheelgun from Taurus 942 series that brings lightweight carryability and stout rimfire ballistics together in a small-frame package ideal for concealed carry, backup use, range drills, and shooter training. With a 2.00" matte black barrel and 6.60" overall length on an aluminum frame weighing just 17.80 oz, the Ultralite balances low felt recoil from the .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire cartridge with enough capacity for extended practice sessions without adding bulk to a belt or holster. The exposed hammer and short, smooth double-action pull transition to a crisp single-action break for accurate follow-up shots, while the serrated ramp front sight and drift-adjustable rear sight allow rapid sighting and windage tuning in the field. The black finger-groove grips and matte black cylinder deliver a secure hold and reduced glare for discreet carry; a transfer-bar safety adds passive drop protection. Whether you're working on fundamentals at the range, carrying as a lightweight concealed option, or introducing shooters to revolver handling, the Taurus 942M blends reliable function, accessible recoil management, and straightforward controls favored by trainers, hunters seeking a compact rimfire option, and everyday carriers who prioritize weight and shootability.
