About this product
The Taurus 942 is an eight shot rimfire revolver sized like a carry snub, and this one is chambered in 22 WMR. That gives you more rounds than a typical small frame 38 with very little recoil, which makes it a good gun for training new shooters, for kit guns on the trail and for carry by anyone who struggles with heavier recoil.
The barrel is 2" and the barrel, cylinder and frame are matte stainless steel. It is a double action / single action revolver with an exposed hammer and a transfer bar safety. Sights are a serrated ramp front and a drift adjustable rear, so you can zero it to your load. A black finger groove grip fills the hand. It weighs 23.6 oz and measures 6.6" overall, 4.64" tall and 1.34" wide. Stainless steel shrugs off the sweat and lint of daily carry.
