About this product
The North American Arms Iris is a Mini Revolver chambered in 22 WMR with a 1.63" ported barrel and a five shot cylinder. The barrel wears a turquoise Cerakote finish over a matte stainless frame, the cylinder is stainless and turquoise, and faux white pearl grips finish the look. The ports at the muzzle help tame muzzle rise from the magnum rimfire load.
Like every NAA mini, it is a single action revolver: cock the exposed hammer for each shot, and aim with the bead front sight. At about 6.5 oz it disappears in a pocket, and the 22 Magnum gives more energy than 22 LR from the same tiny frame, which is why the 22 Mag mini is NAA's best known gun. One caution from the maker: NAA advises against using PMC ammunition in this revolver.
