Taurus 942 22 WMR 3" 8rd Revolver

The Taurus 942 puts eight rounds of 22 WMR in a small frame double action revolver. This model has a 3" barrel, a steel frame and a matte black finish with a finger grooved grip. It fires double action or single action from an exposed hammer, and a transfer bar safety blocks the hammer from the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled.

Sights are a serrated ramp front and a drift adjustable rear, so you can zero it for your load. The 22 Magnum gives noticeably more punch than 22 LR while recoil stays light, which makes the 942 an easy gun for new shooters, trail carry and practice with a wheelgun that handles like a defensive revolver. At about 25 oz it is heavy enough to soak up muzzle flip and small enough for a belt or a range bag, and the eight shot cylinder gives two more rounds than most compact centerfire revolvers.
