Smith and Wesson Model 648 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire 6 inch 8 Round Stainless Steel

The Smith & Wesson 12460 Model 648 brings the K?Frame tradition into a hard?hitting rimfire package, a stainless steel 6" barreled, 8?shot revolver chambered in 22 WMR that's built for competition and recreational shooting where accuracy, balance and solid construction matter. With a full stainless steel frame, cylinder and barrel, a Patridge front and adjustable rear sight and a K?Frame footprint that yields an 11.1" overall length and a 46.2 oz heft, this DA/SA revolver tracks well for offhand strings and stays steady on the bench for target work; the exposed hammer gives you crisp single?action breaks and quick second?strike capability when double action is called for. The black finger?grooved synthetic grips deliver a sure hold through follow?up shots, while the internal lock safety adds a layer of responsible carry or transport security. Longtime Smith & Wesson users will recognize the Model 648 as a rimfire option in the K?Frame family that marries classic revolver controls with the ballistics of the 22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, and note that transfer requires an FFL. For shooters hunting small game, honing competition skills, or enjoying range sessions, this revolver offers predictable performance and classic feel.
