Sig Sauer P211 9mm 4.4" 23rd Comp Pistol

The P211 is a double stack 1911 from Sig Sauer, a hammer fired pistol with the trigger feel and grip angle of the classic gun and a magazine that holds far more than the original ever did. This is the plain black version: 9mm, a 4.4 inch barrel, an integrated compensator at the muzzle and a slide cut for the SIG-LOC PRO optic footprint. The compensator is the feature that changes how the gun feels, keeping the dot or the front sight from climbing between shots so the second round lands where the first one did.

Two magazine sizes come with it, a 21rd and a 23rd, so there is a longer one for the range and a shorter one that sits closer to the frame. Everything else is straightforward: an optic ready slide, a full size double stack frame and no colour scheme to explain to anybody. A 1911 shooter will find the controls exactly where they belong. Someone coming off a striker fired gun will notice the trigger first and the softer recoil impulse second. It is built for range and competition work, and it would sit beside a bed without complaint.
