MAC 9 DS-D Comp 9mm 5" 17rd Pistol

The MAC 9 DS-D Comp from Military Armament Corporation is a double stack, 1911 style 9mm built around a 5" bull barrel with a single port that lines up with a matching cut in the slide. That integrated port cuts muzzle rise, so the dot or front sight comes back on target faster. The frame and slide are carbon steel with a QPQ Tenifer finish, and the gun comes with two stainless 17 round STI pattern magazines.

For optics it uses the AOS plate system, and an RMR plate is included so most red dots co-witness with the serrated iron sights. The adjustable skeletonized trigger and skeletonized hammer give a short, crisp single action press. The polymer grip module is STI compatible, with a 25 LPI front strap and a flat mainspring housing, and the magazine release is interchangeable and adjustable for your thumb. Forward slide serrations help with press checks and manipulations. It is a lot of competition pistol for a carry or duty role, and it fits shooters who want 2011 style capacity without building one up from parts.
