MAC Cerberus 2011 9mm 4.4" 17rd Pistol

MAC built the Cerberus as a double stack 2011 with its own architecture rather than a stretched 1911, and this is the standard non ported model. The 4.4" bull barrel is finished with a target crown and sits inside a machined carbon steel slide with cocking serrations at both ends. The frame and grip module are aluminum, which keeps a wide body gun from getting heavy in the hand.

The trigger is single action and the grip safety is an extended beavertail, so the gun handles the way a 1911 shooter expects even though the magazine is twice as wide. Two 17rd Check-Mate magazines are included and the pistol runs standard 17 and 19 round 2011 pattern magazines, so feeding it is not a scavenger hunt. The slide is cut to the RMR footprint and an adapter plate comes with it. Field stripping is a push button guide rod job with no tools, and the ambidextrous safety and the Picatinny rail under the dust cover round out a gun aimed at competition, duty and range work alike.
