About the Freedom Ordnance FX-9 9mm
The Freedom Ordnance FX-9 is a compact blowback 9mm built on AR controls and fed from Glock style magazines. This is the shortest version, with a 4" barrel threaded 1/2-28 for 9mm rated muzzle devices and suppressors. It is machined from billet aluminum and hard coat anodized, and the receiver is about an inch shorter than a standard AR-15, which keeps the whole pistol small. The barrel and bolt carry a black nitride finish.
A 3.5" Freedom M-LOK free float handguard with a handstop sits up front, and a full length Picatinny top rail leaves room for a red dot or other optic. The KAK Shockwave brace mounts on the pistol receiver extension. It has an enhanced extractor and bolt package, last round bolt hold open, an oversize Recurve style charging handle and anti walk pins. It comes with one ETS 31rd Glock style magazine. The lower is threaded for mil spec buffer tubes, so it is easy to customize with AR-15 accessories. It works well as a truck gun, a range toy or a compact home defense PCC.
