Ruger Vaquero 5101 45 Colt 5.50 inch 6 Round Blued Steel Frame Hardwood Grip

The Ruger 5101 Vaquero Medium Frame 45 Colt brings classic western styling into a modern, shootable package: this Ruger Vaquero series single-action revolver features a 5.50" cold hammer-forged blued steel barrel, blued cylinder and frame, hardwood grip and an exposed hammer for authentic cock-and-shoot handling, with a 6-round capacity in .45 Colt that delivers the knockdown authority shooters expect from Long Colt loads. The medium-frame Vaquero blends traditional hand-filling grip geometry with a 1:16" RH twist, six grooves and a blade front with integral rear sight to provide consistent, practical accuracy for cowboy action competition, ranch carry, range sessions and big-game brush hunting at moderate distances; at 40 oz and 11.12" overall it balances shootability with presence. Ruger's patented transfer bar mechanism, loading gate interlock and reverse-indexing pawl make loading, unloading and safe carry straightforward, while the larger crescent-style ejector rod head and blued finish preserve period-correct looks. If you want a historically inspired single-action revolver that accepts .45 Colt performance with modern safety and craftsmanship, the Ruger Vaquero 5101 is built to deliver reliable service and classic lines.
