Heritage Roscoe 38 Spl 3" 5rd Wood Grip Revolver

The Heritage Roscoe is a throwback to the snub revolvers carried by detectives and plainclothes cops in the 1930s through the 1950s. This model has a 3" barrel, a 5 round cylinder chambered in 38 Special and rated for +P loads, and a small carbon steel frame finished in polished black. Classic wood grips complete the look.

The trigger works double action or single action: pull straight through for a fast first shot, or thumb the hammer back for a light, deliberate press. Sights are a fixed serrated front blade with a fixed rear notch, simple and snag free. A transfer bar safety keeps the hammer off the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The extra length over a 2 inch snub adds sight radius and a bit more velocity while staying around 7.5 inches overall and about 23.5 ounces, so it still carries well on the belt or in a coat pocket holster. It's a practical carry and nightstand gun that also looks right at home in a collection of classic revolvers.
