Pietta GWII Deadman's Hand 357 Mag 4.75" 6rd Revolver

The Pietta Great Western II Deadman's Hand is named for the poker hand Wild Bill Hickok was holding when he was shot in Deadwood: aces and eights. The white polymer grip carries that hand, and the rest of the gun is dressed to match. The color case hardened frame, blued barrel and cylinder, and brass backstrap are all photo engraved, and the trigger guard is brass.

It is chambered in 357 Magnum with a 4.75" barrel and a six round cylinder, with a blade front sight and an exposed hammer. Like every Great Western II, it is period correct inside: the firing pin floats in the hammer, the way the originals were built, rather than using a transfer bar. Cock the hammer for each shot and the trigger releases it. The 357 chambering keeps recoil manageable for cowboy action stages and long days at the range, and the Hickok theme gives it a story every western fan knows. It is a fun piece of Old West history that is meant to be shot as well as shown.
