Pietta GWII Posse 357 Mag 3.5" 6rd Revolver

The Pietta Great Western II Posse is a compact take on the 1873 pattern: a 357 Magnum single action with a 3.5" barrel and a six round cylinder. The frame is color case hardened, the barrel and cylinder are blued, and the grip is smooth walnut, a plain and traditional combination that never goes out of style.

The 3.5" barrel makes the Posse noticeably handier than the 4.75" and 5.5" guns. It clears a holster fast, rides close to the body and balances back toward the hand. A blade front sight and an exposed hammer keep it simple: cock the hammer for each shot and the trigger releases it. Chambered in 357 Magnum, it has enough power for working use around the ranch. It is the Great Western II for someone who wants a compact single action to carry around the ranch or bring to a cowboy match where a short barrel has its own following.
