Charter Arms Mag Pug 357 Mag 3" 5rd Stainless Revolver

Charter Arms built the Mag Pug as a compact home protection revolver, and this one is the 3 inch model in high polish stainless steel. The barrel, cylinder and frame are all polished stainless, set off by a full size black finger grooved rubber grip that soaks up 357 Magnum recoil. It holds 5 rounds and also fires 38 Special for lighter practice.

It is a double action/single action revolver: pull through for a double action shot or thumb back the exposed hammer for a lighter single action break. A transfer bar safety sits between hammer and firing pin. The sights are adjustable, which is uncommon on a short barrel carry size revolver and lets you set point of impact for your load. It weighs 21 ounces on Charter's large frame and runs about 7.3 inches long, small enough for a nightstand drawer or a belt holster. The large frame and full grip make it easier to control than the snub nose revolvers it competes with.
