Mossberg 590A1 Pro 12 GA 20" 8rd Tungsten Shotgun

The 590A1 Professional is Mossberg's duty pump gun in its most complete form. The 20" heavy walled barrel carries a Cylinder Bore choke, the magazine tube holds eight 12 gauge shells, and the 3" chamber takes everything from reduced recoil buckshot to full power slugs. Metal parts wear a Tungsten Cerakote finish, and the trigger guard and safety button are metal rather than polymer, the details that set the 590A1 apart from the standard 590.

Sighting is a metal ghost ring rear with a fiber optic front, protected by low profile wings. The receiver is optic ready: pull the plate and a micro dot with the Shield RMSc footprint mounts directly to the receiver, low enough to keep the irons usable. The synthetic stock uses a spacer system for a 12" to 13" length of pull, a good fit for shooters wearing a vest or heavy coat, and the corncob forend gives a positive grip on the pump stroke. Dual extractors, twin action bars, steel to steel lockup, a clean out magazine tube and the top tang ambidextrous safety are all here. It weighs about 7 lbs with a 39.25" overall length.
