Mossberg 590A1 Retrograde 12 GA 20" 8rd Walnut Shotgun

The Mossberg 590A1 is the pump shotgun the U.S. armed forces selected after it passed MilSpec qualification, and it has served military and law enforcement agencies around the world for decades. The Retrograde gives that duty gun a throwback look with a walnut stock and corn cob style walnut forend in place of synthetic furniture.

Under the wood it is all 590A1. The 20 inch heavy walled barrel wears a heat shield and is bored cylinder, the metal is Parkerized, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for a rail or optic. Ghost ring sights give a fast, precise aiming point with slugs or buckshot. The magazine tube holds eight shells, and the chamber takes 2.75 and 3 inch loads. Inside are the parts that made the 590A1 a service gun: dual extractors, twin action bars, positive steel to steel lockup and an anti jam elevator. The top mounted safety works for right or left handed shooters, and the trigger guard and safety are metal.
