About the Maxim Defense SDX RFLX
Maxim Defense made its name building PDW braces, stocks, and compact fighting guns for the special operations community, and the SDX RFLX follows the same brief: a short, integrally suppressed 300 Blackout pistol for work in tight spaces. The 8.5 inch barrel sits right in the sweet spot for the cartridge. 300 BLK was developed to burn its full powder charge in short barrels, so supersonic loads leave this gun with terminal performance near an AK round from a platform half the length, while heavy subsonic loads stay quiet and controllable through the integrated RFLX suppressor. A full length 1913 Picatinny rail runs up top, and the rear wears Maxim's Gen 6 CQB brace.
That flexibility is why the chambering owns the compact defensive gun conversation. The all black finish keeps the visual signature as small as the footprint, and it makes a natural truck gun or home defense piece where overall length matters more than anything else.
